For those of us who own rescues, you know why this picture tugs at my heart. Victoria, her boyfriend, and their rescue pup came to me for a mini session and this shot above captured what I have come to know as the unconditional love that only animals can give. Just look at this pup's sweet little face! Pet portrait sessions are so much fun, mainly because I don't have a dog myself and get to receive lots of much needed puppy love. Including your pet is much less stressful than you think. I always prep my clients with great dog portrait tips when they book with me so that everything goes smoothly. I loved this session and I hope you do too!
It was about time that I did a family portrait session for my own family! It's hard to believe that after ten years of doing portrait photography, we haven't gotten around to doing our own family portrait session. Better late then never I say! I love that my parents incorporated our family dog, Hershey. He truly is a member of our family and deserved to be included. We photographed for a simple 20 minutes around our property here in Franklin, WI. My boyfriend lovingly took some shots too so I could step in for a few. Despite the slight lack of green, I say we got some stunning shots!
