Photographing in the Historic Third Ward for Brandon's senior portrait session was just perfect. Brandon and his mom were so fun to talk to, which always makes the session go by super fast! They opted for my short and sweet Bronze Package, in which you get to wear one outfit and have a 30 minute photography session. The Bronze Package is awesome for senior guys because often they don't want too much fuss. The thirty minutes goes by in a flash and I always end up getting some wonderful shots. This session is no exception!
"Kelsey did an amazing job for my son's senior pictures. I would use her again for my family photos. She captured the greatest shots and she had the greatest locations. She was very pleasant to work with." -Terry
This session was one for the books! Marissa chose to go with my property first here in Franklin and then Bass Bay Brewhouse along Lake Muskego for her second location. Little did we know a storm was barreling down on us out of nowhere!! Brandy, Marissa's mom, was such a good sport and held an umbrella over me while we photographed along the lake so I could get the perfect shot. I loved working with Marissa because she is a theatre kid and so am I. Her beautiful personality shines through in these senior portraits and I couldn't be happier. Working with Hannah on her senior portrait session was such a fantastic experience! Hannah is a super talented artist so we decided to go with Black Cat Mural Alley in downtown Milwaukee for one of her locations. This alley is such a cool spot and its graffiti is always changing! Hannah incorporated her sketch book and drawings into her senior portrait session, which I loved. Our second spot was in the Historic Third Ward. Hannah loves the water so we had to get some beautiful shots with the river in the background. We totally bonded over the tv show, Avatar Last Air Bender because we both consider ourselves Water Benders. I love the shots we got, so scroll through and check them out!
For Catherine's senior portrait session, she decided to stick to my rustic property here in Franklin, WI. I adored all the outfits Catherine had picked out because they jived so well with the natural background. The cherry on top though was that Catherine brought her puppy with so we could sneak a few adorable shots in of them together! Those are by far my favorite from the session, (aside from the chicken shot!) but I am a huge animal person so anything with a pet is going to be my favorite. I also loved that Catherine was recommending to me through one of my favorite seniors from last year, Adam. Scroll through and see for yourself!
Sam decided to go with my five acre property here in Franklin, WI for his senior portrait session. We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful day with all the storms that have been coming through the Milwaukee area this month! Sam had just gotten back from a whirlwind trip of Europe that was done through his high school, Pius XI, and I was SO JEALOUS. I've had the chance to go to Rome post-graduation, but my high school never set anything up like that for us as students. Working with Sam was such a treat and I love the edits they chose - see for yourself below!
Brooqlenn was my VERY FIRST senior portrait session of the 2018 graduating class for the Milwaukee area and it set the bar high. We started her 90 minute Gold Package Session here on my property in Franklin. With the Gold Package you get to wear three outfits, so Brooqlenn decided to do two outfits here and then stay in her second outfit as we headed downtown. That way she could could get some awesome shots in the second outfit with the urban backdrop before changing into her final outfit. I love that we got to incorporate both rustic AND urban with this Gold Package Session. While we were downtown a huge storm starting rolling in, but we weren't afraid! We just kept on photographing and took advantage of the amazing color of the sky. See for yourself below!

Working with Hattie on her senior portraits was such a treat. One of my favorite things is when senior incorporate their pets into their photos. Hattie brought her pup along and we got some adorable shots on my property here in Franklin, WI. We also went down the street and photographed at St. Martin of Tours Church for Hattie's final outfit. I love that Hattie brought along her sports equipment too, it always adds so much to a graduation session. To see more photos of this beautiful gal, click below!
To say that I had a great time photographing Kevin is an understatement. As a fellow thespain, Kevin and I could have chatted our way through the 60 minute senior portrait session without even taking a single photo! Luckily I like to stay on task, but we still had a chance to talk all things theatre. Doing our photography session in downtown Milwaukee was perfect for Kevin. Having an urban backdrop totally brought out his personality and kept things fun and adventurous. I could have chosen every single shot as my favorite, but check out some extra spectacular shots below!
I had the honor of taking Adam's senior portraits here on my property in Franklin, WI earlier this summer. This kid was so much fun to get to know - from being an Eagle Scout to fishing and hunting. I'm so glad he chose to go with my property for his senior session because I think it wonderfully represented who Adam is - rustic, charming, and full of life! My favorite shot is, unsurprisingly, the one with the chickens. His smile is absolutely perfect! Thanks for reading and I hope you love these photos as much as I do.
