I had the honor of photographing Anthony and Melanie's wedding this November at the lovely Jean Acres Farm in Ellsworth, Wisconsin. I cannot express enough how beautiful and touching the ceremony and reception were. Melanie and her bridesmaids got ready in Rosemount. All the while, about an hour away, Anthony and his groomsmen hung out at Jean Acres. If you haven't heard of Jean Acres - get ready - this farm is one of the most beautiful venues I have seen close to the Twin Cities. If you are looking for a rustic barn wedding, look no further. Anthony and Melanie had a first look before the ceremony followed by the wedding party photos. I personally think this is the best time to nab your wedding party photos. That way you can enjoy yourself for the rest of the day without any interruptions. It was about 20 degrees out so we braved just a few wedding party portraits outside! The ceremony took place on the main floor of the barn. As you can see it absolutely stunning. The lighted rustic chandeliers are so flipping cute and the pine paneling throughout the building made the entire night smell like a dream. After the ceremony the guests had a cocktail hour in the basement. The basement features a rustic bar with gorgeous barn doors on either side. Anthony and Melanie had their receiving line there while the main floor was cleared away for dinner. The rest of the evening was dinner and dancing. The atmosphere was relaxed and the room was full of love. I couldn't have asked for a more magical wedding to photograph.
"Kelsey is absolutely fabulous! She is extremely professional, flexible, and energetic! She did a phenomenal job on our wedding photos and we could not be happier. We would recommend her to anyone and everyone we know!"
